| HISTORY
KCS, Inc. began in 1975 as the vision of a small
Korean church to provide community services to
the influx of immigrants coming to Southern California. KCS aimed to provide hope and access to the thousands
of Koreans beginning a new life here in the United
States. Hence, the dove logo was adopted.
In the 1980's, the focus of the agency widened
as KCS began to service the general population
with substance abuse services.
In 1991, KCS expanded to Orange County and
established K.C. Services, the substance abuse
wing of KCS. In 1997, KCS branched out to provide
family violence programs. At present, KCS continues
to offer comprehensive programs that services
both the Korean and general population.
