K.C. Services' mission is to provide through
treatment and prevention programs. comprehensive
substance abuse services which enhance the quality
of life for individuals and communities. K.C.
Services' goal is to promote healthier lives and
alcohol and drug free communities through outreach,
education and counseling.
- SACPA/Proposition 36
Under the Substance Abuse Crime Prevention
Act of 2000, non-violent adult offenders who
use or possess illegal drugs will receive drug
treatment rather than incarceration. K.C. Services
is an outpatient provider of SACPA services
in Orange County. Eligible offenders receive
up to one year of drug treatment and six months
of after-care, Vocational training, family counseling,
literacy training, and other services are also
be provided.
K.C.Services is funded by
the county of Orange Health Care Agency.
- PC 1000 Program/Drug Division
K.C. services is licensed to provide the PC
1000 Drug Diversion Program. which consists
of 15 weeks of education, group counseling and
individual sessions for who those who have been
placed on deferred entry of judgment pending
completion of our program.
- Parolee Program
K.C. Services is part of the Orange County
Parolee Substance Abuse Treatment Network Services.
K.C. Services, through the outpatient treatment
modality, provides face to face counseling,
group sessions, and education to parolees.
- Drug Testing
K.C. Services provides drug testing for a
low fee to the public at large. Both urine strip
testing and testing via lab is available. In
addition, our counselors provide referrals to
appropriate treatment for those with positive
results.
- Outpatient treatment for Domestic
Violence Offenders
For clients mandated to attend a substance
abuse component as an adjunct to their batterers'
or child abusers' treatment, K.C. Services offers
a low-intensive outpatient program consisting
of 52 weekly two-hour sessions.
- Substance Abuse Assessments
K.C. Services offers substance abuse assessments
using the Addiction Severity index.
- Private Counseling
Because of the depth and experience our staff,
individual counseling can be arranged on a case
by case basis according to need.
